Money is a simple term explaining a a fair unit to calculate value of a certain product. In everyday lives, we make transaction using money. With money, one is labeled rich or poor. It is because of money everyone is striving hard sweating their body working for hours. Although you may often hear the phrase ‘Money Is Not Everything’, in my opinion, it is not true at all. Money is an essential source of life. If we look at it closely, why are there so many cases of frauds? Why are there so many cases of scams? Are they not because of the same reason? – Money. However, if we would have look it even closer, then all of us would realise the cause of us labeling money as the root of all evil. The reason is very simple, the greed and thirst to live wealthy regardless of others.
However, it is the nature of human beings to misuse the flexibility of life. Therefore, money which I presume is a flexibility of life is also misused by us – Humans. We are the ones deciding the so-called evilness of the money. Therefore, money is definitely not the root of all evil. Ever wondered how would we live without money? Well it is indeed very simple, yet messy. We will never ever able to put value to goods. There may be no economical understandings. International trades will never exist. That is only a few and if I keep on listing, the list indeed goes on.
I am not denying the fact at the lowest hierarchy of the situation; some may say money is the root of all evil. In larger view and aspect, it is not. We should think globally. It is because of money we are living now hapilly. It is because of money that today we enjoy the best of technology and development. Many never realised that everyone is working round the clock to gain income for their well being. It is a healthy competition if humans are able to control themselves of greed and think rationally. There is no use blaming money for its existence. In fact, we should be proud that we are able to work hard and feed ourselves in a fair atmosphere.
There are still many scams and frauds happening all around the world. Like I said if we conclude things without investigating its main cause, we will definitely blame money. We should always think far and begin to realise that it is up to us to decide on how to use money. If we decide to misuse it, then there will be no end to this discussion but likewise if we use it in a proper way, it is no doubt that we will prosper and blessed with good fortunes. It is the karma of God that every individual has their own limit of prosperity and wealth. We should always be humble with what we have and appreciate money. With that, evil will be far at sight.
In conclusion, for one thing, money is not the root of all evil. Think wise and decide, we are the caliphs on earth. Money is just a simple thing for us to decide. So sit back, think and decide the evil status of money. It is our choice.
